Archetype Mapping
Understand the subconscious patterns shaping how you think, feel, and respond.
Archetype Mapping is a structured one-to-one process designed to explore the subconscious associations, archetypes, and recurring patterns that can influence how we perceive ourselves, relate to others, and respond to situations in everyday life.
Rather than focusing only on the behaviour we can see, the process creates space to explore what may be sitting underneath the response.
WHAT CAN WE EXPLORE?
Sometimes the pattern is easier to see than the reason behind it.
You may notice yourself repeatedly responding in a particular way ā becoming overwhelmed, avoiding certain situations, seeking approval, struggling with boundaries, overthinking, or falling into the same roles within relationships.
Archetype Mapping provides a structured way of exploring the associations and patterns connected with these responses, with the aim of developing greater self-awareness.
Iād then have four simple visual points:
EMOTIONAL RESPONSES
Recognising recurring emotional reactions and the situations that bring them up.
RELATIONSHIPS & ROLES
Exploring the roles and patterns you may repeatedly adopt around other people.
STRESS & TRIGGERS
Developing awareness of situations, associations, and patterns connected with your stress response.
SELF-PERCEPTION
Exploring the subconscious associations that may influence how you perceive yourself.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Archetype Mapping is a wellbeing and self-exploration practice and is not psychotherapy, psychological assessment or medical treatment. It is not intended to diagnose or treat mental-health or medical conditions.
